900 transport staff attend bus safety workshop in Sharjah

The aim is to ensure the highest standards of children’s safety during their bus commutes when schools reopen next month 

Sharjah, August 25, 2022: Child Safety Department (CSD) hosted a two-day workshop for bus drivers, supervisors and navigators. Titled ‘School Bus Safety Golden Rules’, as part of CSD comprehensive yearly campaign themed, ‘Their Safety First’, the aim is to ensure the highest standards of children’s safety during their bus commutes when schools reopen next month for a new academic year.

The workshop was attended by 900 bus drivers, supervisors and navigators. The workshop was held in collaboration with Sharjah Police Headquarters, Emirates Transport and Sharjah Civil Defence Authority. 

The workshop updated attendees on the best practices of children safety during their transportation to and from their schools. 

The Child Safety Department (CSD) is an affiliate of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah.
